The newly renovated Morningside fish market now boasts itself as one of Brisbane's largest seafood markets.

Established in 1976 the Fish Factory has been operating for over 30 years. The original fish market was acquired by Chis Savva and Andrew Solomon in 2008.

In October 2011 a fire destroyed the fish market and after a complete refurbishment it was reopened having been rebuilt and designed to look like a true fish market. The new fish market now offers oyster opening on-site as well as filleting to order and it has a reputation as one of the best fish and seafood markets in Brisbane.
